Bibliography Formatter

The hanging indent is the canonical use case for text-indent: 2em hanging — every bibliography entry indents subsequent lines more than the first, so citations align cleanly at a glance. Adjust the indent depth and toggle between no-indent, regular indent, and hanging to see why hanging is the right tool.
